Elaine Stead is a venture capitalist, entrepreneur and scientist with extensive experience in healthcare innovation, venture investment and technology commercialisation.
Elaine is a member of the investment team at Main Sequence, where she focuses on investing in transformative healthcare technologies. She has invested in more than 80 startups across Australia, the United States and Southeast Asia, and has held leadership roles spanning venture capital, entrepreneurship and research translation.
Elaine holds a PhD in Biochemistry (Stem Cell Biology) and brings to the Board deep expertise in healthcare innovation, strategic investment, commercialisation and governance.
